Pinning Pain

I'm on the second week of my Test 500 cycle. Pinned my right and left quad without incident last week (M/Th), and my right this Monday as well. However, when I went to pin my left quad this morning, I got an extreme pain and was only able to go 3/4 of the way in before it became unbearable and I have to quickly withdraw. No blood came out. I switched out the needle and pinned my right quad without incident. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Also, is it alright that I've pinned my right quad twice in the same week? I hate the thought of having to try again on the left side next week...
 
Move to glutes. You will get lumpy scar tissue if you keep pinning the same spot.
 
Lol I hit delts all the time some times beginners are scared so I suggest glutes. I get more pain frOm glutes and quads than shoulders and tris personally.
 
i pin quads through out the week also pin delts, gluts is hard for me haha im to big...you probably hit a nerve just re pin but move it over a bit. i hit nerves all the time no biggie im on a test prop cycle pining EOD
 
Quads and delts here. Quads being my go-to spot.

What i've noticed is that it kinda hurts once you hit muscle. Back off for a sec then go in slowly until it's burried. You'll be fine, just take your time.
 
i barely have any hurt, dont know why. I use 5/8" pin, shoulder, completely inserted at a slight angle, it has a small pinch when breaking thru skin, then nothing. takes 15 seconds to finish process, then its out, I alcohol swab again, am done with it, sometimes a little tenderness for an hour or a few hours, barely, and nothing, no burning, no pain, its like it never happened.. Am I just lucky or numb? lol
 
I think you're lucky. It has taken me at least 6 weeks to get my delts where they can handle .6ml to 1ml of oil. It would hurt for 2 days afterwards at first. Now it's a little tender right afterwards but all good after that. I think it's all about getting that muscle used to the oil.
 
I use all of my delt heads for anywhere from .5 to 1ml of gear, pecs, tris, glutes, quads, and considering traps. Pinned everything from TNE to Tren in those spots accept for traps of course. Never doing Biceps again, first time tried with TNE, was crippled for days. Still pushed through it though, also use 23-25 guage 1-1.5" for glutes and quads, use 25 1 and 1.5" to slin pins with everything else, and no I don't stick a 1.5" needle in my shoulder Lol just because its 1.5" doesn't mean you have to push it all the way in. And to the OP, I love pinning quads but I also hit more nerves there than anywhere else the most painful experience was when a nerve caused my quad to flex several times with the needle inside. I've even used 18 guages in my quads for test suspension.

Im italian, we drink oilive oil for breakfast, so I think my body is used to oil...lol
 
Do y'all bury a 1" in your delts? I've been using a slin pin and really dimpling the skin. I imagine I'm getting somewhere close to 3/4". 1" just seems like a big ass pin for the delts.
 
shoulders always kill me, and no matter what gear it is or the size of the shot. glutes and quads for me. every time I go back to delts I think "why the hell did I do that?" lol

I used to use 1.2" 23g for everything, delts included. I can get 2ml in easy enough, have done 2.5ml before in delts, 4mls in quads. 1.2 is probably too deep for delts but never had a problem.

I slin pin everything these days, focus on virgin areas like tris, outer bi's, and pecs.

I'm pinning quads and delts as well. I'm hitting quads more as I have 10 years worth of scar tissue in my delts. Thinking about trying pecs next, just kind of worried about it.

25g x 1.5 inch for delts and quads is what I'm now using. If you don't have enough meat in the shoulders, just don't bury the pin all the way.

This, I was using 23g 1 1/2in for a while but after talking to you about the scar tissue you have I switched to 25g 1in. for all injections except glutes, still use the 23g 1 1/2in for them!

I used to pin delts with my 1.5s and burry the bastards, but it was causing me too much pain with the depot being that deep in the muscle and so close to the bone I reckon. 1"s are perfect. I've been pinning 2ml Prop/Winny ED to finish up this cycle. My delts will take it, but they don't like it!

I seem to hit nerves only when pinning quads though. Sounds like that's what happened to me.

Based on what I've read and after seeing my muscle twitch, I'm sure I hit a fucking nerve. Goddamn it sucked. Time to hit that ass :deadhorse:
 
I use a 25g 1 inch pretty much everywhere, Ventro Glute ( Hip shot ) Delt, Quads, Pecs.

Slin pin for tris, bis, pecs,

and burrying a 1 inch needle in your delt is imo a perfect depth.

Volumes -

Delts - up to 3ml no problem
Ventro Glutes - up to 5ml no problems
Quads up to 3ml no problem
Pecs - 1.5ml
Tri's - 1ml
bi's - 1ml
 
These are my go-to spots as well and I use a 22g 1 1/2". The ventro glute is painless for me, very easy to find and avoids the possibility of hitting the sciatic nerve.

Ventro Glute ( Hip shot ), Quads.
 
Insulin Syringes are a great idea because it will honestly be so much easier when you pin. Also try moving to your glutes and see how that works. But i would definitely try the IN.Syringes first:)
 
Delts are tough to aspirate, I`m not a big fan of them. I love quads, mine are huge so there are different spots I can hit and they take 3cc shots like nothing.
 
I really wanna try the ventroglute because I can't reach my glute, quads hurt like CRAZY anytime I tried them, and delts I don't wanna flood with oil. No matter how much I look at diagrams and myself I just can't figure out the right place to pin VG. It doesn't seem like a big muscle at all

Thats because there are larger more large nerves in the quad area. Glutes are ok provided youdont hit the sciatic nerve. That is pain. Just try slightly.moving the site you inject inyour quad its notthat hardto find a couple of sweet spots in the vastus laterelis(outer quad muscle).
 
I recently pinned my right qaud. I must of hit a nerve , I felt like I wanted to puke and started sweating. So back to qlutes for me.
 
Pinned my left quad yesteday no problem no pain. Much easier than hitting glutes.so hopefully I don't hit a nerve again, cause that sucks.
