Rob,
http://docmudge.tripod.com/dynorun030902/index.html is my dyno sheet. Its a 94, heads/cam/shorty headers/yada yada car, all naturally aspirated (safer, cheaper).
Had the heads done by a friend back easy who does work for big-name Trans Am etc racers, good price, and low lift flow blows away stuff costing much more, so the car was not just top end, I could take off from second gear with no problem, stock rear 3.42 gears.
If I had long tube headers on the car, it should have hit 520 crank HP, I was around 485/490, but I live in CA so wanted to keep the headers legal just incase, plus long tubes have poor ground clearance.
Here is a pic of me napping in the car, at
www.thunderhill.com which is one of the tracks I visit, with some other guys -

Ahh, and yes its a 5.7L, no stroker here (budget).
My plan is to sell this beast, and start a 67/68 Camaro project. I had a 69 Firebird and miss it, the first gen is the car of my dreams. I guess you could call what I want to do pro-tour, more of a road racer though, so a 6 speed and probably an LT1 - because the computer has an easy/cheap EEPROM to work with, readily available, decent power, etc Definately tempting to go EFI 400+ SBC though. LT1 can be taken to 421 (without relocating the bores), but it starts getting damn expensive, and honestly a 383/396 LT1 could put out 500 RWHP NA with a good solid roller cam, and still be streetable, which would still be tough to keep straight on the road. 17x11 for the rear probably, but I dont know how I could squeeze those on the front - although they do fit on my current car, all the way around, no tubs
Thats my dream, I like this car, but I love 67/68.
