a patent pussy foot answer to a question that is really of no consequence? who cares? this guy was out for blood against palin and used a worthless question to show it. really who cares who her favorite founding father is? it's really a throw away question because it doesn't show if someone is cut out for political office or not. truthfully you can name any founding father and be correct. ask a legit question where people are going to care about the answer to if you want to be a legit political journalist. political journalist today is really an oxymoron. (end of current soap box)
It might seem pointless to you but she was an inch away from being second in command of the Nation those great men risked everything to see come to being, it would be nice to see whose ideal of The Perfect Nation she leans toward, is it John Adams' more conservative ways, or my favorite Thomas Paines more radical approach? I mean each of the characters from those times were so far on opposite ends of the spectrum that it's amazing they were able to come together and bring about such a grand design. When you delve into Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, John Adams, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, G. Washington, etc... and where they stood you realize that they were just like we are today with ideas scattered about on all sides of the spectrum, none of them were totally on the "right or left" and I think it's absolutely beautiful to see that.... so in the interview would it have killed her to put just a little more emphasis to the answer, give some examples of what roles she thought were most important by each founder?

in which case you just made her answer about all of them all the more relevant.
this was a 48 second clip, not near enough time to answer the question in the manner you describe.

It was a 48 second clip because she dodged the answer. Beck didn't say, "tell me who you're favorite founding father is in 45 seconds or less.". That's just how long it takes to come up with a dodge of the question.

I wanna see Palin and Glenn fucking Beck in a bitch slap contest. That would be sweet!

Below, Glenn Beck asks Palin who her favorite "Founder" was?

Palin's Answer: "all of them."

Beck responds by saying, "bullcrap."

Then, she goes into a soliloquy and comes up with - tada!! - George Washington.

Ahem....George Washington is technically considered a founder by many but the devil is in the details. Washington didn't sign the Declaration of Indepedence but he was the President of the Constitutional Convention, and he did sign the Constitution.

I'm not sure I agree, but there's nothing I can cite to prove it either way. In the current setup, maybe we can support more life, but countries like China and India are making big pushes to join the ranks of more western countries in their standard of living. What happens when billions of additional people start trying to live the way Americans have lived for a while? I think we may run out of resources faster than we think.

Some demographic professor have made great presentation based on statistics.

Basically population statistics and world birth rate trends.

This is vey interesting. Check it out. It's only 9 minutes. If you're further interested, go to youtube, because this one below is #1 of a total of 9.

the guy is considered the father of our country. you may be the only person who argues with calling George Washington a founding father.

Washington was busy commanding the troops, he didn't have time to sit around signing declarations. The man was only the first president and was key to getting other army officers to join the cause, without the men who fought this country wouldn't exist. We'd be referring to the floundering fathers of the Colonists Rebellion while sipping tea...

OK, folks,

We're muttled in the details of George Washington, and I started that.

But the point is:

Palin - again - could NOT answer a simple question.

Well, The Retard, I didn't call myself a libertarian. I said if I were forced to choose a party, I would probably choose libertarian, but even the libertarians don't represent me very well. I don't fall into any group. I don't need to have other people agree with me to make me feel better about my beliefs.

What you don't understand is there are free thinkers in the world like myself that do not vote party line. I don't know, call me crazy, but I vote on the individual and their running mate. I thought Obama/Bidan were better than McCain/Palin. I voted for Bush in 2000, because I thought he was better than Gore. You will always vote party line. No matter how bad they are, you will always support your party leaders. You are the pawns of the evil rich politicians that suck the life out of the country. You are on par with the people that voted for Obama because he was black, and you will never be able to see that.

Believe it or not, there are actually people who have issues of importance to them which a particular political party consistently delivers on.

My main issues are:
-oppose increasing the disparity in income taxes
-oppose increasing entitlement spending
-oppose gun control
-hate race-baiting

These are issues that the Republican party consistently delivers on. In contrast, people who oppose the war on drugs or who support "gay rights" as their main issues will vote Democrat, despite the fact that Democrats never make any significant headway on these issues.

Palin will give a speech at the Tea Party convention for reportedly $100,000.

Tickets start at $350 and go up to $549.

When the Tea Party movement started in 2007 it was independent and non-partisan.

It's truly, for the sheep now. Co-opted by national politicians and TV talk show hosts.
