On whether or not you think steroid use can(will) cause prostate issues.
I am getting ready to have a PSA test and some other blood work done because I have been having some symptoms of a prostate issue.
I have read a lot on the subject and I understand the prostate continues to grow as a man ages.
But from some of the information I have found it appears one of the reasons for this is because as a man ages his test levels drop and his estrogen levels increase which causes the prostate to enlarge.
Since we all are steroid users I'm wondering if while we are doing our cycles and taking a ai to control estro will this be a benifit to prostate health or not.
Also DHT(dihydrotestosterone) plays a role in the prostate enlarging I think.
And do you think certain steroids are better or worse for the prostate.
All these things are related to hormone changes as a man ages so since we play with our hormones with our useage I'm just trying to put the pieces together.
Perhaps some of you long time users and vets can help enlighten me on this subject.
I'm no newbie and have been playing with cycles for 30 years but this is a subject that I have just recently became interested in knowing much more about.
