First Cycle for a 40 y.o.

I've lifted on and off for over 20 years. I still hit the gym 2-3x a week. I'm looking to get a little bigger, but I'm mostly looking to cut up. The info I've found here is awesome. It seems like all the beginner cycles are pretty much the same, for similar, results. Getting big! How could I taylor a beginner cycle to cut fat more. I have a good diet, and do moderate cardio, still, I'd like more! I'm 5'9", 250. Thanks guys, and keep up the good work!
 
A good way to cut, is to look at your diet. A good diet for cutting is low carbs (not more than approx 20g per day) and high protein for at least 10 continuous days. At that point your body goes into Ketosis, which means starts burning excess fat for fuel. Ketosis can be measured with Ketostix, (Diabetes sticks) a good indicator to check your level of fat burning. Try that before you do AAS.
 
You need to get leaner before you touch the gear.

What is your BF%?

You should be at least 12-15% before jumping on cycle.

Diet/cardio/ECA stack will work wonders. I would also post your diet and training routine in the appropriate forums and let us help you there first.
 
Yes you should definitely get your bodyfat down before running a cycle. Check out the "first cycle and pct" sticky on the previous page. If I were 40 though my cycle would look like this.


Week 1 to forever

250mg test cyp/enan 1x a week
adjust AI dosage as necessary

gear wont make you magically cut up, and the more bf you have the less results you will see. if you just want to lose weight and get cut up. change your diet and look into clen

If you are 5-9 and 250lbs! What is your BF? I am 5-9 175lbs. 11% Bf, AAS is not a cure all, work on getting your weight down. Start with single compound like Test and see how you react.
 
If anything u probably need Clen, t3 and hgh. A good 2-3 iu a day will thin u out very well in about 4-6 mon

AAS will help you retain muscle while deeper in a deficit, so you might lose weight faster while retaining your size, but it's not gonna magically burn fat for you.

Look into ephedrine/caffeine stack, clen, HIIT etc. Get as lean as possible before jumping into a cycle
 
Dude ,im 49 and ive been lifting all my life off and on , mostly on. ill be 50 in 4 mon. so 2 yrs ago i decided to finally get serious about eating clean, not just for a couple mos. for ever. ive been living on fish and rice chicken and sweet potatos etc . and i look better at 49 than i ever did ( with the help of a little test, deca ,and tren.) but it was def. 90% diet. And when i doo break down and have a burger or a slice of pizza, man , its the best ive ever tasted.:ohyeah:

Ketogenic diet is the way to go. High protien to preserve muscle mass and low carb to burn all the excess fat :winkfinger:

I will not assist you with a cycle until I have this information. Hopefully, nobody else will either.

Gear will not cut you up.
 
first cycle from what im hearing is the best one ive been told to keep it simple test -e 500ml 2x a week 12 weeks

^^^^^Bro I would reccomend a month of good cardio, light weight training to get that body weight down, and then blast yourself with test and heavy lifting followed by a good caloric intake and you will be the new beast on the block. :shooter:
 
yeah i was just thinking about 3-4 weeks of d-bol unsure of dosages can you advise also would to throw in tren-e after the d bol and run it twoweeks past the test then start pct can this be an effective cycle
 
Dbol for the first four or so weeks would be great. I'd start at just like 30mg if I were you, you still don't know what side effects it might give you and that's plenty to make good gains for someone who's never cycled.

I would definitely not run tren e though. Tren is as harsh as it gets so should be saved for when you have at least 2-3 cycles under your belt. Add to that the fact that tren E will stay in your system and keep giving you sides for quite a while, first time tren users are reccomended to use tren ace.

He says he's been training for close to 20 years. I agree his diet needs work and he should get to at least 15%bf before cycling but at that age/experience making gains naturally is probably a thing of the past.

Get on a solid cutting diet with a good amount of cardio, keep dropping your calories by 100 or so every week. If you start stalling out as you approach low double/high single digits then add in some EC/caffeine and you should be golden.
 
30mg d-bol a week? bear with me i want to be sure. so tren -e not a good idea okay so what im looking for is something that i can throw in to lean out how about eq?
 
Stick to some test and cardio 3x aweek and get a good diet you will feel great and drop some wieght. Back before we had all these rules I did a cycle and leaned out rel good and I was pretty heavy fuck the Dbol for the time being you have to first find out how your body reacts to the test before you add a stack this way if something goes wrong you will know where it is coming from. :shooter: Hater Hurter
