I preloaded some slin pins with my hcg, I did push the needles in the stopper. Now when I inject with them they are dull as butter knife, wtf? Do I need to back load them? They are BD 30g pins.

I always back load. I use 29G 1/2in usually.
I use BD 30g 1/2" with Zero problems...no backload...just go to Walmart and grab another bag....theyre like $2

I use 1/2" 29g easy-touch. Never backloaded em and have not noticed a problem ever.
With oils I always backload when using slin pins.
With HCG I always draw it from the bottle and inject it immediately, no backloading.
I can definately tell a difference in needle sharpness. Ive had a few HCG shots that hurt because the needle got so dull going thru the rubber stopper.
I've noticed that there are different consistencies in the rubber stoppers. The HCG (small) vials tend to have thicker harder rubber than the larger mixing vials.
The consistency of the rubber can dull the needle to more or less of a degree but in my experience so far not enough to make the injection terribly unpleasant.
I have the small vials and the stopper is pretty tough.
Backloading is for pu**ies, unless it's for an oil. Man up!
I have reshielded slins after preloading and actually pushed the pin through the side of the shield, those injects were a little tough, sometime when you miss the center of the stopper you go through a lot of rubber, c'mon we're talking 1/2" 30ga. My 6 year old diabetic niece whines less. Put a Hello Kitty bandaid on it it'll be ok.
also the rubber stopper on my hcg vial is pretty tough.
